Community Impact
Improving lives in our community has always been the mission of United Way and its supporters. But how can we do it better? How can we make long-lasting improvements that affect more people? How can we mobilize more individuals, organizations and businesses in the work of making our area a better place for all of us to live and work?
We start with a vision for the future. Bold, measurable goals for the next ten years that have been developed by regional leaders and experts. Goals that focus on the building blocks for a good life:
The regional leaders and experts have been working since July of 2009. They examined research, created a vision, foresaw obstacles, and finally created a strategic direction. To see the full work product for each focus area, click either Education, Income or Health above.
We need your help as we move forward in determining how United Way funds should be used to strategically create change. We need specific 10-year goals to measure so share the difference your donor dollars make.
