United Way of North Central Iowa works to raise funding to address North Central Iowa’s most pressing needs. As a community-based organization, the money raised through our generous local donors must be distributed through community decisions in a manner that is transparent, fair, and meets the needs of our region. We accomplish this goal through Community Impact Teams. These teams consist of local community volunteers who review our funding applications. Anyone who has an interest in the success of our community and would like to help United Way of North Central Iowa accomplish their mission is qualified. This opportunity exposes volunteers to our local nonprofit community, and the needs of our community, all while serving alongside new and interesting people.
Community Impact Schedule:
March 6 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. -Community Impact Volunteer Training-Hr. long We use an online system for both applications and volunteer review. This means no more binders! You will receive an e-CImpact volunteer login and be able to access the applications for review on your mobile, tablet, or computer. If you are unable to attend a training session in person, we will have a recording of the zoom option
